A very good, pricier seafood restaurant by the harbor that I would happily return to for fresh, more original dishes and an easy, relaxed feel at the table.

Two seas, one strip
The studio sits on the
Mediterranean side.
Two beaches, two seas, both reachable on foot. The Mediterranean is about 10 metres from the building. The Mar Menor is about a two-minute walk the other way. Food, shops, pharmacy, gym, bus stop – all inside a ten-minute walk.

Open sea, deeper water, proper waves on a windy day. The kind of beach for actual swimming and looking out at the horizon.
Mar Menor
About 2 minutes the other way
A shallow saltwater lagoon, calmer than the sea on its worst day, warmer in summer. You can walk out tens of metres before it gets deep. Good for kids, paddleboards, and anyone who doesn’t fancy waves with their coffee.

Bus stop directly
opposite the building.
Useful for Cabo de Palos and Cartagena. Airport journeys by public transport require changes, so check the current timetable before travelling.
Out of season
Most of it stays open
all year.
Shops, restaurants, gym, pharmacy – open year-round. The pool normally runs from late May until the end of October. Water sports rentals are summer only too. Off-season is quieter, sometimes much quieter. That’s the trade.
