Mr Ernesto bought this fourth-floor studio over ten years ago as a holiday flat for himself. He still uses it when he can. When he can’t, it’s available to rent – same flat, same furniture, same view from the long window.
He answers messages within 24 hours, in English, Spanish, French, Lithuanian, Russian or Polish. A local contact handles anything that needs hands on the ground – keys, the boiler, the bin schedule. Check-in is by key safe, so arrival times are yours.
He doesn’t run a property portfolio. No six-platform listings, no automated pricing engine, no team. One studio, one direct booking page, one inbox.

Best coffee on the strip, and the pastries are the kind you go back for the next day. A five minute walk from the door.

Restaurante El Jardín
My pick for lunch or dinner, and one of the few places that stays open all year. Book ahead for dinner, they fill up fast.

Playa Bellavista
The beach right at the door. I have tried the others up and down the strip and this is still where I swim.
