has three superb championship golf courses, North course, South course and West course.
Each one represents an entirely different test, giving golfers of all standards the opportunity to play in Europe's premier sports resort. The South course is the main championship course and hosts all the major competitions such as the European PGA Seniors Qualifying School and has hosted the Spanish open five times. Competitions are arranged three times per week.
(Par 73), this championship golf course was relaid and redesigned in 2004. The course plays through the centre of La Manga Club, the palm lined fairways are a challenge to all calibre of golfers. New lakes and bunkers add even more excitement to this great course.
(Par 71), with tight fairways and ‘barrancas’ in play it is shorter than the South but certainly no less of a challenge. The North course plays adjacent to the South and the return 9 holes have plenty of water to contend with.
(Par 72) scenic, serene and stunning this course plays through pine clad hills. The West offers an entirely different kind of challenge to all golfers with narrow winding fairways, elevated tees and dog-legs to contend with. A great contrast to the other two championship courses.
During your game the BAR 19 buggy drives around offering refreshments and snacks. There is a halfway house on the South course for coffees and brandys should you need them. At the end of your day the BAR 37, located above the clubhouse, offers meals, tapas and drinks. There is also a clubhouse at the West course with equally excellent facilities. |
