Equestrian & Treking La Manga Club

Set in the hills and surrounded by beautiful lemon groves, the equestrian centre offers a variety of daily treks along the beach and through the picturesque countryside. Qualified instructors are on hand for group and individual tuition within the two school areas or jumping arena. Whether you are a competent rider or a beginner, the equestrian centre has something for everyone.

All equipment is provided for full enjoyment of your days riding.


Treking and walks


Walking & Hillclimbing
There are numerous treks through the forests, along the beach and through the picturesque countryside surrounding La Manga Club. Maps are available free of charge and each shows detailed routes and the level of difficulty. Some are spectacular along the hilltops next to the Mediterranean. Most of these can be tackled by novices although many are more advanced and good walking shoes are necessary. The walk to the quite fantastic and enormous Portman Guns is a must. Calablanque national park is defiinately worth a 'Trek' and the enormous Lions Head Mountain visible from everywhere in the club has a challenging but worthwhile path to the summit Be sure and take your camera !!!.



Ornithology and Calblanque Nature Reserve


La Manga Club is set amongst Natural Parks and areas of natural beauty. Many migrating birds flock as they head South including Crested Eagles. 14 flocked in 2005 a rare phenomenon. Local species include Pink Flamingos, Hoopoes, Waterfowl and various other species fill the area. A chance to sight a rare bird amidst the wild flowers on even the shortest of strolls.
